Developed in the late 70's, the Performance Data Computer was designed to automatically calculate the best flight route in all different stages of the flight, including take off, climb, cruising, decent, and landing. Ultimately, this allowed operators of the 737-200 Series Aircraft to conserve fuel and shorten flight times. Eventually, the functions of the Performance Data Computer were combined with the Flight Management Computer, beginning with the 737-300 Series.
Pacific Aerospace is proud to be one of the few companies with the ability to Test, Repair, and Overhaul these Performance Data Computers. In the event of an AOG, Pacific Aerospace can normally perform a complete Overhaul within 1 - 2 business days. Despite being used exclusively on the 737-200 Series Aircraft, Pacific Aerospace regularly receives these items to Test, Repair, and Overhaul on a regular basis.
